The commitment to serve in the choir is one that is does not go unrecognised. Starting in 1990, our long service medals have historically invested by the choir’s Patron, the Apostolic Nuncio, representative of the Holy Father.

Over the years as the choir has matured, the length of service to a medal is 10 years for a a bronze. 20 years a silver. 30 years a gold. 40 years a gold with enamel and 45 years a papal blessing from the Holy Father.

The pope’s pin that the choir wears is only given to fully fledged members as a gift from the Apostolic Nuncio.

The 4 medals that can be invested upon a member after years of dedicated service.
