As the Church of the Risen Christ Choir, our crest featured a treble clef flanked by the initials CRC. The choir’s motto then was Cantate Domino, which means, Sing to the Lord. which we continue to do.

Moving to the Cathedral in 2002, the choir’s 32 year history was not forgotten when Archbishop Nicholas Chia installed them as the Cathedral of the Risen Christ Choir. Its rich history of service to the church and nation the choir was not to be forgotten, this was also embodied in our new motto – “Pro Pontifice et Patria”, which translates into “For Pope, for Country”.

The current iteration of our logo is from 2020 when we celebrated the choir’s 50th anniversary.
